Engineering begins with the fuel, process conditions, emission requirements and site constraints.

Wet FGD

Mature limestone/gypsum wet scrubber technology with high reliability and strong tolerance to flue-gas variations. Suited to coal and heavy-oil fired units with stringent emission requirements.

Semi-dry FGD

Spray dryer absorber or circulating semi-dry solutions with simpler water balance and lower wastewater generation. Well suited to medium sulfur fuels and space-constrained sites.

Integrated FGD systems

FGD combined with upstream dust removal and downstream equipment such as mist eliminators, heat recovery and reheaters for optimized performance and footprint.

Flue-gas conditions

Evaluate SO2 load, particulate, temperature, moisture and flow variations to define robust process margins.

Absorbent & reagent handling

Limestone, lime or other reagents with proper storage, preparation, slurry management and dosing control.
